About Our Animal Hospitals
The Animal Health Centre was built in 1993 in the style of a hip-roofed barn and purchased in 2013 by Drs. Glen and Christy Griffin and Dr. Sarah Allin. Two cupolas were moved from a local abandoned barn to complete the roof. The building has two levels, with each floor encompassing approx—4320 sq. ft.
The main floor is split into a merchandising/office area and a work area in the back. The work area includes a lab (bacteriology, culture and sensitivity, cbcs, urinalysis, parasitology, embryo freezing and storage, semen storage), an obstetrical room, a hydraulic tipping table, equine stocks, and two cattle squeezes/headgates in addition to the one in the obstetrical room.
The meeting area for producer meetings and 4-H meetings has offices for a local cattle buyer, a bedroom suite and kitchen, bathrooms, showers, and meeting facilities (producer meetings, 4-H meetings, canine obedience training).
Outside the building are two livestock handling facilities, a round pen, and several horse paddocks.
